Pizza Pizza, in partnership with Electronics Products Recycling Association, is holding its annual Slices for Devices month in April. Now in it's 15th year, Pizza Pizza has helped diver over 17,000 electronics from being sent to landfills. In 2017 alone, the program diverted 4.257 tonnes of unwanted electronic waste from landfills.
Here's How It Works: Customers can drop off any small electronic device and in return, receive a voucher for a free slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza.
The devices are safely and consciously recycled by the EPRA, you get a free slice of pizza, and the world is a little bit of a better place! In addition, the proceeds from the program will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network through Pizza Pizza's Slices for Smiles Foundation.
The Details: Only traditional stores are eligible for the program. Non-traditional stores (express, gas station stores, arenas, et cetera are not participating). You can find the traditional store closest to you here.
Small electronics that you can recycle include cell phones, cameras, music players, and gaming devices.
The event runs till April 30th, 2018. Customers are limited to 2 devices.
