The Beaded Teardrop Earrings are inspired by Mama Leah, Robin Wiszowaty's (Me to We speaker and author of My Maasai Life) Maasai mama. These statement earrings come in a classic design and colour suitable for the fall.
With incredible detail and a geometric design, the earrings are representative of the rich history of beading in Kenya that has been passed down from generation to generation. Updated for the fall, the earrings colours imitate those of the Venetian Millefiori (thousand flowers) trade bead - a vintage trade bead found in Africa.
These medium sized earrings are handmade with Czech glass beads and use hypoallergenic hooks for ease of wear.
About Me to We
A way of life. Making a difference.
Me to We transforms people into world-changers, one action and experience at a time. Living Me to We means walking softly, travelling lightly and making a difference in your actions and with your purchases.
An innovative social enterprise. Better choices equal a better world.
Me to We provides people with better choices for a better world, including socially conscious and environmentally friendly clothes and accessories, as well as life-changing international volunteer trips, leadership training programs and materials, an inspirational speakers bureau, and books that address issues of positive social change.
Redefining social entrepreneurship. Half to local and international development.
Free The Children is our charity partner and our best friend in changing the world. Half of Me to We's net profit is donated to Free The Children, while the other half is reinvested to grow the enterprise and its social mission.
Using a highly effective model, Me to We is structured to offset expenses and help provide pro bono services to Free The Children's efforts at home and abroad.
We work with Free The Children for one simple reason: this development model makes sense. We've seen it change lives, time and again.
