LED. LED backlight technology offers several advantages over LCD flourescent tube backlighting. First is picture performance. LED lights can be turned on and off much faster than flourescent lights, this helps LED TVs improve motion blur by 50% over equally specd LCD TVs. Also LED lights create a brighter, whiter white light than flourescent lights do, so LED TVs look brighter and have better color reproduction capabilities than LCD TVs. Then there is power consumption, LED TVs use 40% less power than an equally sized LCD TV and because LED lights contain no mercury you get to save money and help save the planet.

Narrow Bezel (Frame) Design. With only a 14mm frame around the screen, the TV frame virtually disappears during viewing and leaves you with a far more immersive experience.
