Eisch Duck Decanter

Eisch Glaskultur is producer of high quality stemware and tabletop products in Bavaria,Germany. The glasswork tradition of the Eisch family dates back to the 17th century. In 1946 Valentin Eisch together with his wife Therese started his own refining company and already in 1952 they built their own glass melting furnace.

Over the years Eisch has earned an outstanding reputation in the glassworking world. Since 1995 Eisch has been voted Thirteen times as the number one glass producer by German retailers. In 2006 Eisch was chosen as one of the most innovative businesses in Germany in the nationwide competition “Land of Ideas.” Eisch wine glasses are highly valued by the Culinary Institute of America. The Institute uses the glasses for their wine studies, wine education and special events.

With the extensive background and rich experience of handcraft tradition, Eisch today is exploring new and innovative techniques in glassworks for the benefit of the wine lover. The latest innovation at Eisch is “SensisplusGlass”. Wine poured in Sensisplus glasses becomes more harmonious and complex, with better balance and greater elegance. Through a completely natural process, the original character and structure of the wine are preserved, while its aromas and flavors become more expressive and generous.

The Eisch glass factory is still family-owned and managed by the third generation.
